Granary Wharf
Much of Granary Wharf is currently taken up with an open plan car park. However, construction has now started on a large scheme for the area that includes a 22 storey residential tower as well as a stepped 14 storey hotel
Importantly, the design also includes a new public square, alongside the water front, providing a new and welcome public space.
The hotel is planned to be open in winter 2008, with the whole scheme complete by autumn 2009.
