Kite Tower
On the site of the Leeds International Pool this 40 storey tower will consist of 6 tall triangular faccades that alternately point up or down. The facades which are only 50% glazed to control heat gain, interlock to create trianglular floor plates at the top and bottom of the tower and hexagonal floor plates in the middle.
This srtiking design is a collaboration between Carey Jones architects and Urban Splash. It will feature a hotel and offices. The building will also have wind turbines to provide it with electricity
